The worst part about a breakup isn't losing the person. It's losing all the stupid little routines. "Did you eat?" "I'm home." "Look at this." "Call me when you're free." I miss being expected somewhere.

I don't want a huge life. I want a small apartment, someone who loves me, a dog, decent coffee, and enough money that I don't panic when the electricity bill comes. That's honestly it.
I have "update resume" in my to-do list every Monday. It's been there for 9 months.
My dad never says "I love you." He fills my car with petrol when he knows I'm travelling. I think that's his version.
I have a note in my phone with things I want to tell people. Most of them will probably never be sent.
Hello there
I got promoted recently and honestly I thought I will be very happy about it. Everyone in office was congratulating me and saying finally you deserve it and all that. But from inside I am not really feeling that happy. My workload almost doubled and now people expect me to know everything. Before if I dont know something I can just say I will check. Now if I say same thing people look at me like I should already know. Also salary increase was there but when I compare the extra responsibility and stress, sometimes I feel was it even worth it. I know I should be grateful because lot of people are waiting for promotion but still I feel I can say this here. I am tired. Maybe I just expected promotion to feel different.
